Talk to an Atmospheric Scientist

Duration: 45-60 mins
Talk to an Atmospheric Scientist

Take a virtual tour of UEA’s cutting edge greenhouse gas monitoring station with a real atmospheric scientist. Your students will be introduced to the science of the carbon cycle and greenhouse effect before being taken on a live virtual tour of UEA's atmospheric monitoring station at Weybourne, Norfolk. Students will get a chance to see how scientists measure greenhouse gases in the atmosphere to monitor changes which are caused by natural and unnatural processes. Your students will get the opportunity to explore some real-world data and investigate what this means for the future of the planet.
